Points of Interest

LV14 Lightship

Built & Commissioned in 1959, she served under the name of SPURN , based 5 miles offshore of the Humber Estuary in the North Sea. Decommissioned and sold in 1985, she travelled around the UK and Ireland, saved in the scrapyard she eventually arrived in Sharpness in 2007. Extensive remodelling took place, renamed SULA and towed to Gloucester in 2010, where new owners purchased her in February 2020.

A Registered National Historic Vessel.

The new owners have restored and adapted her to provide luxury self-catering accommodation with two bedrooms, shower, lounge, kitchen and dining room. Two decks provide views over the docks and a great place to chill at all times of the day.
