Who is Discover Mentoring?
Lawrence - head of Mentoring
Discover Mentoring is a specialist education support service operating across primary and secondary schools in Gloucestershire, founded and led by Lawrence, our head of mentoring. Lawrence brings extensive experience from delivering mentoring services within a variety of contexts, including Futura, Cabot Learning Federation, and Greenshaw Learning Trust schools. He successfully led a mentoring team and delivered transformative outcomes for students with complex needs.

We maintain the highest professional standards - all our mentors are fully qualified with current first aid and safeguarding certifications. Our approach combines experience with innovative methodologies, from outdoor learning to structured team-building activities in the classroom. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to delivering the personalised, high-quality mentoring support that has made us trusted partners with schools across the region.
Our Mentoring
We deliver flexible, bespoke mentoring programs designed around your students' individual needs. Working collaboratively with school staff, we establish clear goals and action plans, then provide detailed session reports tracking progress and outlining next steps. Every program is tailored to fit your school's specific context and requirements. We can offer our mentoring in the following formats.
One to One

Small Group
Want to improve collaboration or help a small group of students with a similar need this service is for you.
On-site
On-Site intervention allows for direct translation from mentoring to the classroom.
Off Site
Our off site mentoring is a perfect opportunity to build trust and encourage self reflection. The flexibility allows us to pursue a bespoke program including activity specific, general, and community based mentoring.
