Learn the basics and put them into action. The Amazing Grace will teach you how to glide along the water. Sit down, kneel or learn to stand and paddle your way. This session is suitable for beginners and a great way to meet like-minded individuals. 

 

Our paddle boards are super stable, so you can spend more time enjoying the experience and less time worrying about falling in.

No previous paddleboarding experience is necessary! Our qualified encouraging instructor with have you paddling with ease in no time.

​

​The Historic Gloucester Dock is a dramatic location to learn how to paddleboard and cruise around the stunning tall ships.

We are perfectly located in the Heart of the city next to some fantastic pubs, restaurants and cafes for you to enjoy some post-paddle food and drink after your session.​

Please note, there is a small online booking fee when completing your booking.

The booking fee will be add to your total price. 

The booking fee value will be based on your total activity price.

Unfortunately Discover Paddling does not have any control over the online booking fee and has to pay a percentage of all income too.

The online booking system has many benefits to ensure you are booked onto the session you want, without being double booked or missing the information.

Pre Requisites

Under 18’s need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian
Suitable for ages under 13.
All participants must wear a provided personal flotation device

 

What is included?

Water safety briefing
Basic paddling – forwards, backwards and turning
Self-rescue techniques
Instruction from our passionate and qualified instructors.
Small group sizes (maximum 8 per instructor)

What to bring?

Towel, clothes to wear on the water, dry clothing, old trainers/water shoes, suncream, drinking water.
